Three Candidates Set to Contest Tura Constituency in 2024 Lok Sabha Elections

Tura, 28 Mar: In the upcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections, three candidates are slated to contest from the Tura constituency. Among them are Agatha Sangma, the incumbent MP and National People’s Party (NPP) candidate, who is also the younger sister of NPP chief Conrad Sangma. Additionally, Shaleng Sangma, MLA from the Gambegre Legislative Assembly constituency, will represent the Congress party, while Zenith Sangma, former MLA, will stand as the All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) candidate for the Tura constituency.

Shaleng and Agatha Sangma completed their nominations on March 26th, while Zenith Sangma filed his nomination yesterday.
