TANCET 2024 Registrations Opening on January 10- All You Need To Know

The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2024 registrations will commence from January 10th for admissions to MBA and MCA programs offered by colleges across Tamil Nadu. Conducted by Anna University, Chennai, the exam is scheduled for March 9th.

With the exam just two months away, aspirants planning to appear for TANCET 2024 must start their preparations. Here’s a quick rundown of the key details regarding the exam:

  • Eligibility Criteria: For an MBA, candidates need a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% marks. For MCA, candidates need a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with mathematics as a subject at the 10+2 level or graduation level.
  • Exam Pattern: The exam comprises 100 multiple choice questions of 1 mark each. 1/3 mark is deducted for incorrect answers.
  • Duration: 2 hours
  • Sections: The question paper is divided into 3 sections – Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude.
  • Registration Process: Visit the official website tancet.annauniv.edu and click on the registration link. Fill in the required details, upload documents and pay the fee.

  • Admit Card: Hall tickets will be available for download from February 20th onwards. Candidates must carry the printout of the admit card to the exam centre.

  • Result Declaration: Results are expected to be declared in the last week of March. Scorecards can be downloaded from the website.
  • Counselling: Once results are out, candidates will be called for counselling rounds for seat allotment. Detailed schedule will be provided by Anna University.
