Northeast to experience rainfall and activity till march 26:IMD

Shillong, 21 Mar: Northeast India, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim are expected to receive heavy rainfall and thunderstorm activity until March 23rd of this month, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast.

Light to moderate rainfall with lightning and thunderstorms is likely to happen over many parts of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, and Sikkim until March 26th.

Some areas of Assam, Meghalaya, are expected to receive heavy rainfall on Saturday, according to the IMD.
