Vivo Launches V30 Series With Flagship Features at Mid-Range Prices

Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has releasing its latest V30 series in the Indian market, offering flagship-level specifications at relatively affordable price points. The V30 lineup includes two models the standard V30 and the higher-end V30 Pro.

Headlining the V30 series is the combination of a large 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate for ultra smooth scrolling and animations. The displays are also HDR10+ certified and boast a peak brightness of 2,800 nits, ensuring excellent viewability even under direct sunlight.

Under the hood, the standard V30 is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, while the Pro model gets the more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor. Both are capable mid-range chips that should handle day-to-day tasks and gaming with ease.

In the amera department, the V30 series brings some serious photography chops. The triple rear camera setup on both phones includes a high-resolution 50MP main sensor, joined by a 50MP ultra-wide lens and another 50MP portrait lens on the Pro for capturing stylized shallow depth of field shots. For selfies, you get an impressive 50MP front-facing shooter.

But the real showstopper is the large 5,000mAh battery combined with blisteringly fast 80W wired charging support. Vivo claims the V30 series are the slimmest phones in India this year to pack such a huge battery and fast charging capability.

On the software side, the V30 lineup runs Android 14 out of the box with Vivo’s latest FuntouchOS 14 custom skin on top.

Here is a quick overview of the Vivo V30 and V30 Pro’s specs and pricing:

The V30 series ticks a lot of boxes for a mid-range flagship device – you get a brilliant high refresh rate AMOLED display, versatile multi-camera system, latest software experience, and uncompromised battery life with blazing fast charging speeds.

Vivo seems to have pulled out all the stops in terms of hardware, offering a very compelling package at competitive prices starting at ₹33,999 for the base V30. The higher-end V30 Pro does inch closer to premium flagship territory with a ₹46,999 price tag for the maxed out variant.

Both phones will be available to purchase from March 14th across Vivo’s online store, Flipkart, and partner retail outlets. Launch offers include an instant 10% discount on HDFC and SBI bank cards, as well as an upgrade bonus of up to ₹4,000 when exchanging an old device.

For those buyers who are searching for a powerful all-rounder smartphone without the flagship premium pricing, the Vivo V30 series released this great option worth considering against the competition. With solid specs, sleek design and class-leading fast charging capabilities, Vivo seems to have a winner on its hands in this mid-range segment.
