Centre clarified o allocation of NEET- MDS exam for NorthEastern States

New Delhi, 14 Mar: The Union Ministry of Health has rubbished reports of non-allocation of examination centres of the National Entrance cum Eligibility Test (NEET) – Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) for the Northeastern states and termed the reports as “false”.

In a social media post, the MoH wrote: “With reference to some media reports suggesting there are no exam centres in the North East, it is clarified that there are NEET MDS examination centres in north-eastern states. There are exam centres in Shillong, Naharlagun, Kohima, Aizawl, Guwahati and Kolkata.”

Moreover, in the second application window for NEET-MDS 2024 which closed on 11-March-2024, only 560 candidates registered.
